Club Leadership Positions Explained

If you are interested in having a leadership position in this club, then please keep reading. There are four open leadership positions. Interested girls will be required to fill out a form for which position they would like to acquire. Below is a description of each open position. Vice President: Will have the responsibility of responding to any emails and answering questions that members may have. The VP has an understanding of the club's mission to support girls, and listens and shares ideas on how this club can grow. The VP helps plan events and contests involving possible prizes. Anytime there is a meeting and the President is unable to attend, then the VP will be in charge. The VP must attend all meetings.

Secretary: Takes notes during meetings including attendance/service hours. Maintains records on all important information or documents for this club and any club updates. The Secretary has a say in contests and event decisions. The Secretary also calls attention to unfinished issues or ideas discussed in the previous meeting. The Secretary must attend all meetings.

Activity Coordinator: The AC will organize activities and events virtually and in-person, including for the social media account (ex. Instagram). The AC will collaborate with the Public Relations Officer to keep members informed of events. The AC must attend all meetings. Public Relations Officer: The PR Officer will take pictures and be the historian for the club. The PR Officer's job is to promote the website through social media and other forms of communication (for example fliers). The PR Officer monitors the website to make sure there are no negative comments and everyone stays respectful. The PR must attend all meetings.
